Class Booking General Terms and Conditions

1. The Trial Classes offered by O'Pine Studio are exclusively available to new clients and can be purchased only once. The introductory offer is non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable, and it activates from the date of purchase.  2. Yoga classes will be open for a single member, while aerial classes require a minimum of three participants.  3. For pregnant students, we strongly recommend attending our tailored Pregnancy Yoga private class, which is only suitable after 12 weeks of pregnancy, as our general yoga classes are not appropriate during pregnancy.  4. The online booking window for all classes closes two hours before the scheduled start time. However, booking a class by contacting us after the booking window has closed is still possible.  5. Payment must be made in full before booking. Please note that, due to limited class sizes, a place is guaranteed only upon receipt of full payment. Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.  6. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm your booking.  7. Any student under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will sign them in.  8. The schedule may change from time to time due to seasonal events, holidays, or other potential schedule conflicts. O'Pine Studio has the right to change the schedule without prior notice.  9. O'Pine Studio reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.  10. By attending our classes, you agree that our studio may take pictures and videos during the class and use those footages for commercial purposes, including but not limited to advertising, marketing, and promotional materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or videotaped, please inform us before the class.

Question 2

Class Cancellation Policy

1. Class cancellations must be made through the scheduling app or the O'Pine Studio website at https://www.opinestudio.com.  2. Cancellations made by phone, WhatsApp, SMS, Instagram, Facebook, or any other method will not be accepted.  3. Class cancellations can be made up to four hours before the scheduled start time without incurring a fee.  4. Any class cancellations made within four hours of the scheduled start time will be considered late cancellations, and the session will be charged.  5. Unlimited passes will be blocked for seven days for no-shows or late cancellations of the class.  6. O'Pine Studio will make reasonable efforts to provide the services at the times specified but will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you or any third party for any late or cancelled classes or sessions, including classes and sessions cancelled due to public holidays or other reasons.  7. In case of black or red rainstorm warning, typhoon signal 8 or above, or other severe weather conditions, the studio may cancel or reschedule classes. In such cases, the studio will notify affected students as soon as possible via email, WhatsApp or phone call. If a class is cancelled due to severe weather conditions, the studio will credit the amount paid into the account of the affected student. The credit can be used to book another time slot at their convenience.

Studio Hire

1. Booking Procedure:  ​ 1.1 You may contact our staff through our website, email, whatsapp, facebook or instagram to make a reservation. 1.2 An invoice and confirmation will be sent to you via email once we have confirmed your booking.It is your responsibility to ensure you have received this message and that the information is correct. If you do not receive this message, please contact us as soon as possible. 1.3 Advance payment is required to secure all studio bookings at O'Pine Studio. We reserve the right to cancel any booking where payment is not received 1 day before the event.  1.4 If cancellation is made within 4 hours or less of the booking time, then the total amount on the invoice will be liable. If the booking is cancelled before the required 4 hours’ notice a cancellation fee will not apply and the balance will return to your account for next but no refund will be issued. 1.5 Booking times may be changed or cancelled in exceptional circumstances by O'Pine Studio due to changes in the internal programme. You will be given notice of cancellation in writing as far in advance of the booking date and time as is reasonably practicable. 1.6 Studio Hire service is limited to yoga, aerial or fitness related activities, you may asked to leave if you're using the studio improperly and the total amount of the studio rental will be liable. ​ 2. Footwear, Food & Drinks in the Studio:   2.1 O'Pine Studio is a shoe free zone. All outdoor footwear should be placed on the shoe rack at the entrance. 2.2  No food or drink may be taken into the studio except bottled water. ​ 3. Damage to the Studio: ​ 3.1 You will be liable for any damage caused to the studio. This includes (without any limitation) damage to the studio’s floors, walls, equipments or audio-visual system. You are responsible for informing us in advance if you notice anything unusual in the condition of the studio. ​ 4. Booking Times: ​ 4.1 You must keep to your allotted time slots and you must ensure that warm-up and cool-down is allowed for within the booking time. 4.2 If you persistently fail to keep to your allotted time, we reserve the rights to invoice for any extra time in the studio according to the time of your stay. ​ 5. Use of Equipment:  ​ 5.1 Equipment may moved according to your purpose of use of the studio. Please keep the place tidy and place the equipment where its belong after the use. 5.2 The studio is equipped with Wi-Fi signal, details of which can be found on the confirmation letter we sent by email after your purchase. ​ 6. Photos & Videos: ​ 6.1 Any hire involving photography and video footage for commerical use must be agreed at the time of booking as different rates apply. Please contact us at info@opinestudio.com for more information. 6.1 If the images will be broadcasted we might be interested in using the images, videos or stills from such shoots in our communication activities. ​ 7. Health & Safety, Best Practice and Public Liability:   7.1 You are responsible for ensuring your session is run in line with current health and safety legislation and best practice guidelines. O'Pine Studio takes no responsibility for the content or health and safety of classes run by external hirers. 7.2 We are not liable for and cannot cover loss of your personal property.  7.3 Hirers need to have their own insurance to cover any situation involving loss or injury to a member of the public as a result of their own activities. 7.4 Any students under 18 years of age must be signed in and accompanied by a parent or guardian. 7.5 Hirers are advised not to exceed the recommended studio maximum capacity (see below). ​ ​ 8. Pricing & Studio Specificities:   ​8.1 Rates are calculated by hour (minimum one hour hire).  8.2 Maximum capacity is recommended for different activities. - Space A (150 sf.) can fit 4 double points / 2 single point / 5 mats. - Space B (200 sf.) can fit 6 double points / 3 single point / 8 mats. - Entire Studio (350 sf.) can fit 10 double points / 5 single point / 12 mats. 8.3 We provide basic equipment such like: yoga blocks, yoga mats, hoops, hammocks, silks and blosters. But you are always welcomed to bring your own equipment.

Workshops & Courses

• All courses or workshops purchased from O'Pine Studio must be preceded by way of agreeing the booking terms and conditions at check out, that he/she has no physical limitations preventing him/her from participation.   • Specifically, as noted on the booking terms and conditions, you acknowledge that, considering your own capabilities and limitations, it is not necessary for you to undertake the practices, exercises and training suggested by the class teacher.   • You should consult a physician prior to enrolling to practise aerial art, yoga, fitness or meditation if concerned. Otherwise you assume the physical risk of your physical condition, past and current medical issues/injuries/illness or medication that may affect you taking these classes. You understand that these classes are not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment.   • You recognize that it is your responsibility to notify your teacher of any serious illness or injury before every class. You will not perform any postures to the extent of strain or pain. If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, gently come out of the posture.    • The applicant agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of the studio and acknowledges that these rules and regulations may change from time to time.   • We strongly advise that if a student is pregnant, that they attend our tailored Pregnancy Yoga classes suitable only from 12wks as our general yoga classes are not suitable during pregnancy.   • You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.   • All applicants must be over 18 years of age to be eligible to attend all regular aerial art, fitness and yoga classes.    • O'Pine Studio does not offer refunds or credits on workshops and courses for change of mind, change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final.   • Payment needs to be made upon booking.   • Please arrive at least 10 mins before the scheduled start time of the workshop. Late entry to workshops will not be permitted.   • Any no show or absence will result in forfeiting that visit. If you do not attend a booked workshop you will be charged. Latecomers will be considered as no show and you will be charged.   • Furthermore, all applicants release O'Pine Studio, its owners, directors, managers and all employees & contractors of all liability regarding: 1) any injury to self or child 2) any loss or damage to personal property.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars ($HKD), and all transactions are processed in Hong Kong Dollars ($HKD). Sale items are only available at the lower price during the sale period. We reserve the right to amend prices and rectify printing errors. All purchases are final. O'Pine Studio does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions, or extensions on services, workshops, or products for change of mind, change of address, or any other reason. O'Pine Studio will not provide a refund for missed classes for change of mind, temporary ill health, or other reasons. If you know you will be unable to attend a class, please cancel your booking online, as per our cancellation policy. All passes and memberships are non-transferable. O'Pine Studio reserves the right to pass on the cost of any additional bank fees, which may incur from disputed or failed transactions regarding a student's account.  Trial Passes: Trial Passes are valid for seven days from the purchase date. Sessions are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required).  Drop-In Passes: Drop-in passes are valid for one month from the purchase date. Sessions are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required).  Studio Credit Passes: 1 Credit Pack is valid for one month from the purchase date. Credits are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required). 18 Credits Pack is valid for 30 days from the purchase date. Credits are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required). 72 Credits Pack is valid for 180 days from the purchase date. Credits are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required). 108 Credits Pack is valid for 270 days from the purchase date. Credits are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required). 150 Credits Pack (Single Use) can only be used personally. This pack is valid for 350 days from the purchase date. Credits are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required).  Friends and Family Packs: 50 Credits in Friend and Family Pack can be shared with up to one person. This pack is valid for two months from the purchase date. Credits are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required). Please inform us who you would like to share the package with by email or Whatsapp before the first visit. Please note that this package cannot be shared after the first visit. 150 Credits in Friend and Family Pack can be shared with up to two people. This pack is valid for 175 days from the purchase date. Credits are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required). Please inform us who you would like to share the package with by email or Whatsapp before the first visit. Please note that this package cannot be shared after the first visit. 200 Credits in Friend and Family Pack can be shared with up to three people. This pack is valid for 230 days from the purchase date. Credits are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required). Please inform us who you would like to share the package with by email or Whatsapp before the first visit. Please note that this package cannot be shared after the first visit.  Unlimited Yoga Passes: The unlimited yoga pass is only valid for yoga classes. Members with a valid unlimited yoga pass can attend aerial classes and Zumba classes at a discounted rate of $220/class and $150/class, respectively. The unlimited yoga pass is available in 1-month, 3-month, and 6-month durations and valid from the first booking day. Members who hold an unlimited yoga pass must cancel their booking as per our cancellation policy to avoid a penalty. If a member has one late cancellation or no show in a 7-day period, their pass will be blocked for 7 days. Unlimited yoga passes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other services and cannot be shared with other individuals. It cannot be extended beyond the expiration date, except in cases of injury or illness. In such cases, a doctor's note may be required.  Package: Sunlight Sessions isa 50-credit package for all classes from Monday to Friday before 6 pm at O'Pine Studio. This package is valid for 120 days from the purchase date. Credits are non-refundable, non-shareable, and non-transferable but can be extended if you are injured or unwell (a medical certificate is required).  O'Pine Studio may, from time to time, vary its prices to take account of, amongst other things, any change in the cost of providing goods and services. All prices are subject to change without further notice.

Question 6

Physical Condition

1. By attending O'Pine Studio, you warrant that, to the best of your knowledge, you are in good physical health and have no existing medical conditions that would prevent you from participating in O'Pine Studio's services or that would be aggravated by using the services.  2. You must inform O'Pine Studio of any changes to your health that may impact your participation in the services or that O'Pine Studio must know to provide appropriate care for you.  3. If you become aware of any health concerns, you must consult a doctor or qualified professional before resuming the use of the services.  4. It is your responsibility not to use any equipment or undertake any exercise that you suspect may adversely affect any medical condition you have.

ENROLMENT

PAYMENT OF FEES

Tuition fees are payable before the first day of the new term in which the student is attending classes. ​ We charge a $80 administrative fee for each change you make to courses within term time or before the student’s first class ​ For payment we accept cash, credit cards, FPS, transfers through ATM, and cheques. Please make cheque payable to "O'PINE STUDIO LIMITED" ​ Fees must be paid in full before students may attend classes. We reserve the right to refuse entry to students if fees have not been paid on or before the first day of each term ​

UNIFORM

- Musical Theatre & Jazz Funk & Hip Hop: All performers wear a comfortable sportswear to rehearsals. O'Pine Studio is a shoes off space, in order to protect the feets or/and legs from dancing, all performers REQUIRED TO WEAR INDOOR SHOES at all times.   - Ballet: All students are required to use the official ballet uniforms.  ALL GIRLS are required to wear tights and full-sole leather ballet shoes.  ALL BOYS have to wear leotard, shorts, socks and ballet shoes.
Uniforms can be purchased at the studio.   -Latin Dance: All studetns are required to wear casual/sports attire, and Latin shoes. Latin shoes have to be clean and only wear indoor.   Students who have not wear a proper uniform as requested will not be allowed to attend classes.

Question 10

GROOMING

Apart from the prescribed uniform, ballet students are required to groom themselves as follows:   FEMALE students must have their hair pulled back away from the face and secured neatly in a classical bun. Female students with short hair must wear a headband and secure their hair at the back.   MALE students who sport long hair must ensure that their hair is pulled back away from the face and secured neatly   ALL students are not allowed to wear watches and jewellery, other than a small studs, in class or rehearsals.   All students are expected to maintain good personal hygiene and be presentable when coming to class. Students dressed or groomed inappropriately will be asked to sit, observe, or write out the class.

COSTUME (FOR MUSICAL THEATRE)

Costumes are provided by the O'Pine Studio for all performances. Students may be required to supply basic items (black pants, blue jeans, etc.) depending on repertoire, and will be expected to supply all appropriate underwear and hosiery.

MAKE-UP CLASSES

1. We can arrange make-up classes only for students who miss their class through sickness. We cannot arrange make-ups for other reasons (A copy of a doctor’s certificate should be submitted in order to arrange a make-up class)
 2. We must be informed at least one day in advance and in writing of classes to be missed so that we can schedule the make-up classes. Classes missed without proper notice will not be made up later 
 3. A maximum of two make-up may be made per course, regardless of the reason for the make-ups 
 4. Make-up classes must be taken the following term in the same course. Or it can be opt to accumulated to offset the tuition fees for the following term of the same course or any other courses for kids at O’Pine Studio. If the following term fails to proceed as scheduled, you must wait until the course is re-scheduled to take the make up classes
 5. If our available dates for make-up classes do not match the student’s availability, we cannot guarantee a replacement class. Space available is on a first come, first served basis 
 6. We cannot reschedule a missed or pre-arranged make-up class

COVER CLASSES

If students will be travelling or will be away for a long period of time within the term, cover classes may be arranged, provided that we are informed before a new term started 1. Cover classes must be taken in the same course and cannot be accumulated to offset the tuition fees for other courses. If the following term fails to proceed as scheduled, you must wait until the course is re-scheduled to take the make up classes ​ 2. If our available dates for cover classes do not match the student’s availability, we cannot guarantee a replacement class. Space available is on a first come, first served basis 
 3. We cannot reschedule a missed or pre-arranged cover class   4. We charge a $80 administrative fee for arranging cover classes   5. Cover classes can only be taken once in six months

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

In General, O’Pine Studio is opened on all public holidays. If we have not give special notice, all classes shall be conducted as usual during public holidays

ENFORCED CLOSURES

We do not hold classes when the warnings for black rain or typhoon signal number 8 or higher have been raised. We regret to inform that we cannot arrange make-up classes for these events. Classes will resume two hours after the warnings have been lifted

FOOD AND DRINK

Students are generally not permitted to eat in class, as food provides a distraction to others and may be dangerous if certain students are allergic to the food being consumed. Occasionally food is provided as part of a special occasion or longer class session. Please advise us of any food or other allergies

COPYRIGHT

Parents may take photographs, videos, and recordings but only focusing on their own children, and not on the other students in the class. Any media used must not cause a distraction to teachers, other students, or interrupt the class format, and may not be used for commercial or financial gain. You must respect the proprietary nature of all the classes taught at O’Pine Studio and not infringe on copyright, registration marks, and trademarks

PHOTOS AND OTHER MEDIA

We reserve the right to use photos, videos, and/or sound recordings of children and their performances, or classes, for teacher training, curriculum, and/or promotional purposes, unless otherwise informed by you in writing

All participants enrolled in activities at O’Pine Studio do so at their own risk and the company is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to students, their family members, and guests as a result of participating in these activities    2.
